As Eid, a time of joy and celebration, approaches, my heart sinks with the realization that there are countless children who do not have the necessities of clothes, food, and shelter. These innocent souls are refugees, left with no one to care for them or provide for their needs.
Many of them have become orphans, due to the loss of their parents to poverty or violence. It breaks my heart to think of these children, just like my own, living in such dire circumstances.
