The fifth free medical camp organised by African charity aid aimed to treat persons in the villages and Centres with no Health Facility or fewer drugs in Garissa County targeted Hamey Centre residents far corner of Garissa County.
312 have benefited from the free medical exercises mostly children and mothers getting different medications free.
Damajaley MCA Hon Omar Abdi Gabay who was part of to exercise has well come the initiative terming to Miles Stone project Mr Omar father indicated his electorates lucked enough drugs and thanked African charity aid for their endeavors
The Area Chief Ibrahim Nunow speaking in the event said Damajaley Ward deserves such Nobel free medical camp thanking Africa charities for free services terming the vast of the Area and fewer Drugs for the health Centers don’t tally he thanked County Government the infrastructures of the health Centre and demanded more drugs be installed hamey and damajaley ward at large.
The chairperson of Hamey dispensary Mr. Galow Abdi Ali said in a press statement during the take of the free medical camp the camp came when most of their children needed such drugs he said in his statement we have health facilities but fewer drugs may cause harm to many hamey residents who are all pastoralist
