156 people benefitted from a 1-day free medical camp organized by Africa charity aid at Liban village Abaqele Ward of Garissa County where most of the beneficiaries were children and elderly and expectant mothers
The main highlights of the camp were free medicines, diabetic screening; blood pressure, eye and ear check-ups; nutritional assessment, psycho-social support, and free doctor consultation.
Adow Abdi Gedi was Among the treated patients with high fever suspected of was Measles (rubeola) which is a viral disease that causes fever and a rash. The Medics have helped Mr adow and was given adequate treatment.
The free medical camp was inaugurated by Bashir Ahmed Dakane senior Journalist from liban village and the CEO of Africa Charity Aid Mr. Mohamed Farah shire.
The CEO Mr. Shire assured his commitment and continually improving the health care for the residents of Liban Village and villages with no Health Facility
He further reported that: “In pursuit of the same, we continue to expand the health programs by partnering the other organizations to introduce mobile clinics in areas that has no health care programs.
